The author considers two partial differential operators for which a generalized Radon transform and its dual are defined. These transforms are shown to be permutation or transmutation operators. Function spaces on which these transforms are injective and bijective are determined. The eigenfunctions of these partial differential operators are polynomials on the open unit disk of \(\mathbb{C}\). As illustration the results are applied to the generalized Fourier transform and to the generalized convolution product on the closed unit disk of \(\mathbb{C}\) associated with these polynomials.
