    Let \(f \in L^ 2\) on the one-dimensional torus \(T:=R/2 \pi Z\) and let \(f \sim \sum^ \infty_{n = 0} A_ n\) be its Fourier series, where \(A_ n : = c_ n \cos (nx + \theta_ n)\). Let \(\{\varepsilon_ n = \pm 1\}\) be a sequence of random signs and consider \(f_ \varepsilon \sim \sum \varepsilon_ n A_ n\). As is known, the Pisier algebra \({\mathcal P}\) is defined by \[ {\mathcal P} : = \{f \in L^ 2: \text{ probability } (f_ \varepsilon \in C) = 1\}, \] where \(C\) is the class of continuous functions on \(T\). Given a permutation \(\nu:N \to N\), define \(f_ \nu \sim \sum A_{\nu (n)}\) and \[ {\mathcal U} : =\{f \in C:\;\exists \nu \text{ permutation of \(N\) such that }\sum A_{\nu (n)} (x) \text{ converges uniformly}\}. \] The author proves the following two results: (1) \({\mathcal P} \cap C \subset {\mathcal U}\), (2) \(\exists f \in {\mathcal U} \backslash {\mathcal P}\). He also notes that (1) was proved by \textit{D. V. Pecherskij} [Mat. Sb., Nov. Ser. 135, No. 1, 24-35 (1988; Zbl 0675.40010)].
