Let us denote \(u= (az+ 1)/(z+ 1)\), \(v= (aw- 1)/(w- 1)\), \(a\) is a complex parameter. Then the relation (1): \(u^ 2+ uv+ v^ 2= 3\) defines the 2:2 correspondence \(f: z\mapsto w\), for which the authors proved: If \(4\leq a\leq 7\), the Riemann sphere is partitioned into two sets, a regular domain \(\Omega\) and a global attractor \(\Lambda\), each fully-invariant under \(f: z\mapsto w\) and \(f^{-1}: w\mapsto z\), defined by (1), and such that (i) \(\Omega\) is open and simply connected, and the action of the correspondence (1) on \(\Omega\) is conformally conjugate to that of \(\text{PSL}(2,\mathbb{Z})\) acting by Möbius transformation \(z\mapsto z+1\), \(z\mapsto z/(z+1)\) on the complex upper half-plane; (ii) \(\Lambda\) is the one-point union of two connected closed subsets \(\Lambda_{\widehat +}\), \(\Lambda_{\widehat -}\), which are forward and backward invariant respectively. The paper is well written and organized.
