The problem of construction of optimal (suboptimal) controls for nonlinear controlled systems remains an actual problem in optimal control theory. By the maximum principle, one is suggested for the construction of optimal control to solve a two-point boundary value problem. But, due to the complexity and due to the impossibility of the solving of two- point boundary value problems, one cannot obtain the realizable solution of the optimal problem. This paper presents a method for the design of a suboptimal control based on the principle of steepest descent with respect to the Lagrangian.
