Non-axisymmetric modes in viscoelastic Taylor-Couette flow (Q1321583)

The authors are very productive workers in the domain of the hydrodynamic stability: in the last five years, they published, alone or as joint authors, more than five papers in the domain. In the present one, they analyse the viscoelastic Taylor-Couette flow against non-axisymmetric disturbances. In the introduction, they present the context in which their preoccupations are to be inserted, the characteristics of the different flows stabilities (viscoelastic fluids, Newtonian fluids, upper convected Maxwell fluid, Oldroid-\(B\) model), and the principal results obtained till now in the fluid stability domain. In the following chapters of the paper, they present the formulation of the studied problem, the methodology, the results obtained and, finally, their conclusions.
