The authors prove results which have been announced in the first part of this note [DIMACS Ser. Discret. Math. Theor. Comput. Sci. 4, 457-470 (1991; Zbl 0738.52005)]. Some of the results concerning lower bounds for the number of (strictly) antipodal pairs of vertices in a \(d\)-polytope have been given by \textit{V. P. Soltan} and \textit{M. H. Nguen} whose latest paper [Discrete Comput. Geom. 11, No. 2, 149-162 (1994)] is not cited.
