Let \(K\) be a \(p\)-adic field of characteristic zero, and let \(L\) be a lattice in a \(K\)-vector space. The zeta-function \(Z(s)= \int_ L | f(x)|^ s_ K dx\), \(\text{Re } s>0\), is known [the author, J. Reine Angew. Math. 278/279, 307-321 (1975; Zbl 0315.41029)] to be a rational function of \(q^{-s}\), where \(q\) denotes the cardinality of the residue field of \(K\). In this paper, \(Z(s)\) is explicitly computed when \(f\) is a quadratic form on \(V\), the author's ``\(p\)-adic stationary phase formula'' [see, the author, in Algebraic geometry and its applications (Springer 1990), 175-194 (1994)] being used in the course of the proof. As an application, the author evaluates certain \(p\)-adic auxiliary integrals encountered in his previous work [the author, Am. J. Math. 110, 197-233 (1988; Zbl 0662.12014)].
