Let \(A\), \(B\) be rings, \(M\) a \((B,A)\)-bimodule, \(N\) an \((A,B)\)-bimodule, \(I\), \(J\) trace ideals contained in \(A\) and \(B\) respectively. Consider the corresponding Morita context \((M,N)\). In previous notes [ibid. 128, 497- 509 (1990; Zbl 0704.16003) and 135, 192-202 (1990; Zbl 0705.16005)], the author has defined a category \(\text{Mod}(A_ M)\) to be the category of all those right \(A\)-modules invariant under the composite functor \(\text{Hom}_ A(M,-)\otimes_ B M\) and the companion category \(\text{Mod}(B^ M)\) to be determined by those right \(B\)-modules invariant under \(\text{Hom}_ A(M,-\otimes_ B M)\). Letting \({\mathcal D}(A)\) be the full subcategory of \(\text{Mod-}A\) of all those \(V\) for which \(\text{Hom}_ A(M,V) \cong V \otimes_ A N\) the author defined [in ibid. 155, 252-265 (1993; Zbl 0787.16007)] the intersecting subcategory \({\mathcal X}(A)\) to be determined by the intersection of the classes of objects of \(\text{Mod}(A_ M)\), \(\text{Mod}(A^ N)\) and \({\mathcal D}(A)\). Here the author studies a slightly larger full subcategory \(W(A)\) obtained by intersecting the classes of objects of \(\text{Mod}(A^ N)\) and \({\mathcal D}(A)\) only. The aim of this note is to derive criteria for \(W(A)\) to be \({\mathcal L}_ I\) the category of \(I\)- localized right \(A\)-modules in the case when \((M,N)\) is a bijective Morita context.
