The article presents a construction of surfaces of general type with \(p_ g=0\) similar to the one by \textit{A. N. Todorov} [Invent. Math. 63, No. 2, 287-304 (1981; Zbl 0457.14016)]. Let \(S\) be an Enriques surface. The even configurations formed by disjoint (--2)-curves on \(S\) are studied. They can contain 4 or 8 (--2)- curves and the corresponding ramified coverings are Enriques' surfaces in the former situation and bielliptic surfaces in the latter one. This case is considered next; it is shown that the fibered product over \(S\) of the bielliptic surface and the \(K3\) canonical cover of \(S\) is an abelian surface \(A\), blown up in its 16 points of order 2. Using the classification of bielliptic surfaces, it results that \(A\) can be the product of two elliptic curves. At the level of \(S\), the natural projections give two elliptic fibrations over \(P\). Using the associated linear systems, a smooth curve on \(S\) which intersects 0, 1, 2 or 3 of the initial (--2)-curves is found. It forms together with them an even configuration. The associated double cover is a surface of general type with \(p_ g=0\) and \(K^ 2=4\), 3, 2 or 1 (theorem 3.2). The fundamental groups for these surfaces are evaluated using \textit{M. A. Amstrong}'s theorem [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 84, 267-271 (1982; Zbl 0505.57017)].
