This note discusses problems related to the Commutant Lifting Theorem and \(H_ \infty\) optimal control. On one hand, results from previous papers on the Causal Commutant Lifting Theorem are specialized to operators appearing in control and on the other hand, a direct proof of the result relevant for control is given.
