Let \(G\) be a compact group and \(M(G)\) be the convolution semigroup of Borel probability measures on \(G\) with the weak topology. Let \((P(n))\) be a stationary random process with values in \(M(G)\) and let \(Q(m,n)\) be the convolution product \(P(m + n - 1) \dots P(m)\). The authors study the limit behavior of the \((Q(m,n))\) under the assumption that the \((P(n))\) process is ergodic. The paper is too technical for the results to be stated briefly and properly. It is a continuation of the authors' paper [Theory Probab. Appl. 33, No. 2, 355-357 (1988); translation from Teor. Veroyatn. Primen. 33, No. 2, 376-379 (1988; Zbl 0651.60011)].
