Einstein-Yang/Mills equations with the gauge group \(\text{SU}(2)\) admit a countably infinite set of smooth static, spherically symmetric, particle-like solutions. This set is uniquely parametrized by a real bounded sequence \(\{\lambda_ n\}\). In the present paper the authors study properties of a solution corresponding to the limit \(\overline{\lambda} = \lim_{k \to \infty} \lambda_ k\). They show that the \(\overline {\lambda}\)-solution is the first crashing orbit for \(r = 1\) (a metric coefficient becomes singular). Moreover it admits a pseudo- continuation (PC) which can be interpreted as a black hole solution with event horizon at \(r = 1\). The black hole solution in turn is used to get information on the particle-like \(\lambda_ n\)-orbits. Numerous properties of mentioned orbits are proven in the paper. Concluding remarks contain some conjectures and open questions (is the PC-orbit (non)linearly stable?).
