The paper is a contribution to stability theory in the field of vector optimization. The author compares the following concept for approximately efficient solutions with another recent concept: an element \(y_ \varepsilon\in F\) is said to be \(\varepsilon q\)-efficient with respect to \(B\) if \(F\cap (y_ \varepsilon- \varepsilon q- (B\backslash\{0\}))= \emptyset\), where \(K\subset Y\) is a cone satisfying \(\text{int }K\neq\emptyset\), \(q\in\text{int} K\), and the set \(B\) satisfies \(\text{cl }B+ \text{int }K\subset\text{int }B\). The last condition is a key property and it is related to correctness for domination cones; a convex cone (possibly not pointed) \(C\) is said to be correct if \(\text{cl }C+ (C\backslash L)\subset C\), where \(L:= C\cap(- C)\). The author also studies some relationships between the set of approximately efficient solutions of a vector optimization problem and the approximate solutions of a corresponding parametric surrogate optimization problem. Finally, the paper considers stability properties for the scalar surrogate problem.
