    Let \(\Gamma = \text{arc} ab\) be a simple Jordan arc in the complex plane and \(G,g\) be functions defined on \(\Gamma \backslash \{a,b\}\) \((G \neq 0)\) satisfying a Hölder condition on each proper \(\text{arc} \gamma \subset \Gamma\) with exponent \(\nu (\gamma) > {1 \over 2} \overline {dm} \gamma\), where \(\overline {dm} \gamma\) is the fractal dimension of \(\gamma\). It is proved that the Riemann boundary value problem \(\Phi^ + (t) = G(t) \Phi^ -(t) + g(t)\), \(t \in \Gamma \backslash \{a,b\}\), is solvable for the sectionally holomorphic function \(\Phi (z)\).
