Let \(D\subset \mathbb{C}\) be a domain bounded by a Jordan curve \(\Gamma\) that consists of a finite number of arcs with continuous curvatures and the exterior angles not being 0 and \(2\pi\). Let \(\Psi\) be the one-to-one conformal mapping of the complement to \(\mathbb{C}\) of \(\{| z|\leq 1\}\) onto \(\mathbb{C}\backslash \overline D\) normalized by the conditions \(\Psi(\infty)= \infty\) and \(\Psi'(\infty)> 0\), and let \(S_ n= \{\Psi(e^{i(2k\pi/n)}): k= 1,\dots,n\}\). The main result of the paper is the following Theorem: Let \(f\) be an analytic function in \(D\) that is continuous on \(\overline D\). Let \(L_ n(f,\cdot)\) denote the Lagrange interpolation polynomial to \(f\) with nodes from \(S_ n\). If \(0< p<\infty\), then \(\lim_{n\to\infty}\| f- L_ n(f,\cdot)\|_ p= 0\), where \(\| h\|_ p= \left(\int_ \Gamma| f(z)|^ p| dz|\right)^{1/p}\). This yields a first example of the mean convergence of the Lagrange polynomials \(L_ n(f,\cdot)\) to \(f\in A(\overline D)\) for a domain \(D\) with corners.
