    The author discusses the asymptotic behavior of unbounded almost non- expansive sequences and curves in Banach spaces. The results are applied to the study of the asymptotic properties of not necessarily bounded integral solutions to \(du/dt + Au \ni f\) in a general Banach space \((X, \| \cdot \|)\), where \(A\) is a possibly multivalued closed accretive operator in \(X\) satisfying a range condition, and \(f \in L^ 1_{\text{loc}} ([0, \infty); X)\) with \(\lim_{s \to \infty} \int^{s + \delta}_ s \| f(\theta) - f_ \infty \| d \theta = 0\), for some \(f_ \infty \in X\) and \(\delta > 0\). The paper is an extension of two of the author's earlier studies [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl. 19, 741-751 (1992; Zbl 0768.34040); Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 117, 951-956 (1993; Zbl 0784.47048)].
