This note complements a previous paper by the authors [Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 16, 61-66 (1993; Zbl 0783.22002)], where they studied a global version of Moore's Frobenius reciprocity theorem from a category theoretic point of view. Here it is shown that if \(K\) is an open subgroup of the locally compact group \(G\) and \(\overline{\mathcal D}\) and \(\overline{\mathcal C}\) denote the categories of weakly continuous representations of \(G\) and \(K\) respectively by isometries on dual spaces of separable Banach spaces, then the functors of inducing and restricting are adjoint between \(\overline{\mathcal C}\) and \(\overline{\mathcal D}\).
