This is a discussion of several constraint qualification conditions for optimization problems in Banach spaces, but finite-dimensional constraint spaces, and locally Lipschitz data. The conditions are non-existence of singular multipliers, involving Clarke generalized gradients. Comparison with finite-dimensional qualification conditions is given.
