The author studies the class of periodically time-dependent Hamiltonian systems on the cotangent bundle of the \(n\)-dimensional torus which are asymptotically linear in the fibres and with the norm of the Hessian having at most a polynomial growth. Under the hypothesis that the periodic orbits are nondegenerate it is proved that there exist at least \(2^ n\) forced oscillations in a homotopy class of loops. The main tools are the Conley-Zehnder Morse theory and a Galerkin approximation by finite dimensional subspaces.
