The authors consider some spectral properties of the one-dimensional Schrödinger operators with point interactions [\textit{F. Gesztesy} and \textit{W. Kirsch}, J. Reine Angew. Math. 362, 28-50 (1985; Zbl 0565.34018)]. Some theorems are proven giving sufficient conditions for the absence of absolutely continuous spectrum and sufficient conditions yielding purely absolutely continuous spectrum.
