Density of dilates of a shift-invariant subspace (Q1332229)

The author gives sufficient conditions for the density of the dilates of the shift-invariant subspace \(S_ 0(\varphi)\) generated by \(\varphi\) in \(L_ p(\mathbb{R}^ s)\) with \(1\leq p< \infty\). Moreover, he studies the density of the dilates in the space \(C_ 0(\mathbb{R}^ s)\) of all continuous functions vanishing at \(\infty\).
