Completeness of general solutions to axisymmetric problems of transversely isotropic body (Q1334019)

The authors show how the well-known Boussinesq-Papkovich-Neuber solution and Boussinesq-Somigliana-Galerkin solution of linear homogeneous isotropic elastostatics can be extended to include a homogeneous transversely isotropic elastostatics. They also show that the extended solutions are complete and cover a number of particular axially symmetric solutions.
