Let \(\varphi (x,t)\) be a bounded (for all \(t\in\mathbb{R}\)) solution to a nonlinear parabolic system. Linearizing the system at \(\varphi (x,t)\) a linear parabolic system whose coefficients depend on time is obtained. In the paper it is shown that the exponential stability of the zero solution to the linearized parabolic system implies the exponential stability of the solution \(\varphi (x,t)\) to the nonlinear system. The exponential stability for the nonlinear Neumann problem for a weakly- coupled cooperation-diffusion parabolic system in a convex domain is studied. If the zero solution of this problem linearized at a solution \(\varphi (x,t)\in H^{2+\alpha} (Q_ \infty)\) is exponentially stable then conditions are stated under which the solution \(\varphi (x,t)\) is independent of space variables. If the linear weakly-coupled cooperation- diffusion \(\omega\)-periodic system depends on some parameter then it is demonstrated how the established stability criterion allows to obtain some necessary conditions under which the zero solution to the system either loses stability for some values of parameter or remains stable.
