    The author studies the asymptotic properties of the solutions of the following equation \(\Delta^ 2 y_ n+\) \(\sum^ t_{i = 1} p^ i_{n - s_ i}\) \((y_{n - s_ i})^{q_ n} = 0\), \(n = \tau\), \(\tau + 1, \dots\), where \(g : N_ \tau \to \mathbb{R}_ +\) is a sequence of quotients of odd positive integers, \(p^ i : N_{\tau - s_ i} \to \mathbb{R}_ +\), \(i = 1, \dots, t\), \(\sigma = \max_{1 \leq i \leq t} \{s_ i\}\), \(s_ i\) are fixed nonnegative integers, \(t \in N_ \sigma\). Some results for suitable difference inequalities are also presented.
