The domain decomposition method decomposes a long quadrilateral \(Q\) into several component quadrilaterals \(Q_ i\) and then approximates the conformal module \(m(Q)\) by the sum of the modules \(m(Q_ i)\) of the components. There are several types of quadrilaterals for which the error of this approximation has been shown to be exponentially small as the module \(m(Q_ i)\) of one of the components becomes large. The authors give two corollaries to results of their previous paper [Numer. Math. 62, No. 2, 213-234 (1992; Zbl 0780.30007)] which give such error estimates for several new types of quadrilaterals. Five examples are treated in detail and show that this method gives rather accurate results.
