The isomorphism problem for cyclically pinched one-relator groups (Q1334808)

Consider the group \(G = \langle a_ 1,\dots, a_ p,\;b_ 1, \dots,b_ q;\;wv = 1\rangle\), \(1 \leq p\), \(1 \leq q\), \(1 \neq w = w(a_ 1, \dots, a_ p)\) and \(1 \neq v = v(b_ 1,\dots, b_ q)\). Extending his earlier results [see Lond. Math. Soc. Lect. Note Ser. 71, 328-344 (1982; Zbl 0493.20019)], by exploiting the information that a system in \(G\) is a minimal generating system of \(G\), the author arrives at his Theorem 3.4, which is the main result of the paper.
