Approximation of Cauchy-type integrals in Jordan domains (Q1336005)

The author investigates the approximation of the Cauchy-type integrals in regions bounded by rectifiable Jordan curves by means of algebraic polynomials on the basis of Faber polynomials after the summation of Faber series. He uses the notion of a generalized \(\psi\) derivative of a complex function introduced in the paper. This derivative notion is used in the classification of the analytic functions and the obtaiend estimations of the degree of the approximation.
