Consider the system of differential equations \(u' = u[a(t) - b(t)u - c(t)v]\), \(u > 0\), \(v' = v[d(t) + f(t)u - g(t)v]\), \(v > 0\), where \(a,b,c,d,f,g\) are continuous and \(T\)-periodic functions. Further \(b,c,f\) and \(g\) are strictly positive. Under certain conditions the authors show as their main result that the set of \(T\)-periodic solutions of that system is always finite. Moreover, if the system has no subharmonic solutions of second order then there exists at least one asymptotically stable \(T\)-periodic solution.
