High precision interpolation algorithm for 3D parametric curve generation (Q1339567)

The author gives an algorithm for general 3D and 2D parametric curve interpolation. This algorithm uses two criteria: firstly, each selected step has to follow a given direction along the curve and, secondly, each selected step has to be at the closest distance from the curve. The algorithm eliminates, first, the steps that do not conform to the first criterion, and from the remaining steps, finally, by comparison, chooses the optimum one.
