This paper considers linear, time-invariant generalized dynamic systems of the form: \(Ex' (t)= Ax(t)+ Bu(t)\), \(y(t)= Cx(t)\). A minimal realization algorithm is proposed for determining a generalized state- space representation from a row-pseudoproper left matrix fraction description (LMFD). The realized system is controllable and observable if the row-pseudoproper MFD is coprime. The proposed feedback control law also eliminates impulsive terms in the state response of the closed loop system. For purposes of implementation an equivalent input-output feedback structure is adopted for the designed state-feedback controller.
