The structure of the rational point groups of simple abelian varieties of dimension two over finite fields (Q1340183)

Let \(A\) be an abelian variety over a fixed finite field \(k = \mathbb{F}_ q\) with \(q = p^ r\) and \(p = \text{char} (k)\), let \(A(k)\) be the group of \(k\)-rational points on \(A\). -- \textit{H.-G. Rück} [Math. Comput. 49, 301- 304 (1987; Zbl 0628.14019)] determined all possible groups \(A(k)\) when \(A\) is an elliptic curve over \(k\). In this present paper we will do the same thing for some supersingular simple abelian varieties of dimension two over \(k\).
