    The present paper deals with the oscillation of solutions for forced neutral difference equations of the form \[ \Delta (x_ n + px_{n + \delta k}) - q_ n f(x_{\tau_ n}) = F_ n \tag{1} \] and \[ \Delta^ 2(x_ n+px_{n+\delta k})+q_ nf(x_{\tau_ n})=F_ n, \tag{2} \] where \(\delta=\pm 1\), \(p\) is a nonnegative real number, \(k\in\mathbb{N}\) and \(\Delta(x_ n)=x_{n+1}-x_ n\), \(n\in\mathbb{N}\). The sequence \(\{\tau_ n\}\) is a sequence of nonnegative integers with \(\lim_{n\to\infty}\tau_ n=\infty\) and \(\{F_ n\}\) and \(\{q_ n\}\) are sequences of real numbers with \(q_ n^ 0\geq 0\) eventually. The function \(f\) is a real valued function satisfying \(xf(x)>0\) for \(x\neq 0\). Some oscillation criteria are established for a class of difference equations of the type s(1) and (2).
