On Fano 3-folds with non-rational singularities and two-dimensional base (Q1341263)

The target of the author's study is to carry out a description of the structure of normal projective Fano 3-folds \(X\) over the field \(\mathbb{C}\), which admit a \(\mathbb{Q}\)-factorial terminal modification \(g :Y \to X\) over a 2-dimensional basis \(Z\). In \(\S1\) the author proves that, after assuming the existence of such modification of \(X\), the threefold \(Y\) can be chosen in such way that the morphism \(Y \to Z\) is a \(\mathbb{P}^ 1\)-bundle. In \(\S2,3\), the author studies the exceptional set of the bundle model \(Y \to Z\) of \(X\), and gives a complete description of the structure of Fano's, over a 2-dimensional base, which have an intensive singular point. In the end of the paper, the author gives a partial description of such Fano's, over a 2-dimensional base, which do not have an intensive singular point.
