This paper is devoted to the algebraic construction of the simplest form of ordinary differential equations reproducing the time behaviour of radial oscillations for a star of radial symmetry by use of the technique of the formalism of normal form. Since for generic models the Poincaré theorem implies that the corresponding NF is trivial and unacceptable the formalism at singular equilibria (criticality) is applied. Provided that the criticality is chosen strong enough, a nontrivial NF is found for the solutions in the neighborhood of the criticality. The transformation generating the NF at criticality is then extended to the family of models near criticality, thereby generating the normal form family. While the order of the ODE's describing the behaviour of this family remains the same as that of the original system, the author proves that only a finite number among the NFF equations have solutions which do not vanish at \(t= \infty\). The algebraic construction of this transformation is developed here. The author concludes that all simple models so far discussed in literature are members of this family.
