    Let \(\sum a_n\) be an infinite series with the partial sums \((s_n)\) and let \(A= (a_{nv})\) be a normal matrix defining the sequence to sequence transformation \(A_n (s)= \sum_{v=0}^n a_{nv} s_v\), \(n=0, 1, \dots\;\). The series \(\sum a_n\) is said to be summable \(|A|_k\), \(k\geq 1\), if \(\sum_{n=1}^\infty |a_{mn} |^{1-k} |A_n (s)- A_{n-1} (s) |^k< \infty\). When \(A= (\overline{N}, p_n)\). \(|A|_k\) summability is reduced to \(|\overline{N}, p_n |_k\). Let \(\overline {a}_{nv}= \sum_{i=v}^n a_{ni}\), \(n,v= 0,1, \dots\), and \(\widehat {a}_{00}= a_{00}\), \(\widehat {a}_{nv}= \overline {\Delta} \overline {a}_{nv}= \overline {a}_{nv}- \overline {a}_{n- 1,v}\), \(\overline {a}_{- 1,0}= 0\), \(n=1, 2, \dots\;\). In this paper, the author extends the result of \textit{H. Bor} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 163, No. 1, 220-226 (1992; Zbl 0764.42002)] to more general cases by taking normal matrices instead of weighted mean matrices. The main result stated is the Theorem: Suppose that \(A= (a_{nv})\) is a positive normal matrix such that \(a_{n- 1, v}\geq a_{nv}\) for \(n\geq v+1\); \(\overline {a}_{n0} =1\), \(n=0, 1, \dots\); \(\sum_{v=1}^{n-1} a_{vv} \widehat {a}_{n, v-1}= O(a_{nn})\); \(\Delta x_n= x_n- x_{n+1}= O({1\over n})\), where \(x_n= (na_n )^{-1}\). If for a sequence \((\lambda_n)\), \(\sum_{n=1}^\infty n^{-1} \{|\lambda_n|^k+ |\lambda_{n+1} |^k \}x^k_{n-1} <\infty\) and \(\sum_{n=1}^\infty (x_n^k+ 1)|\Delta \lambda_n |< \infty\), then the summability \(|A|_k\) of the series \(\sum_{n=1}^\infty \lambda_n x_n [a_n \cos nt+ b_n \sin nt]\) at any point is a local property of \(f\).
