Modal control of systems with distributed delays (Q1342533)

The problem of modal control is investigated for systems with distributed delays. The problem of modal control is considered as a problem of the control of the coefficients and the ``kernels'' of the characteristic equation. We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for modal controllability in the case of controllers of the linear feedback type. In order to obtain these conditions we use the class of controllers that are stable with respect to small perturbations of the coefficients and the ``kernels'' of the characteristic equations; this is important from the point of view of its practical realization.
