    The authors prove three theorems in connection with trigonometric interpolation for general strong de la Vallée Poussin means. Especially their second theorem is a very sharp result. Using the notations of the paper it reads as follows: Let \(0\leq m\leq n\leq [r/2]\). Then \[ \| V^{1,r}_{n, m}[f]\|\leq K \sum^ n_{\upsilon= 0} {E_{n- m+\upsilon}(f)\over m+ \upsilon+ 1}. \] {}.
