An extension of the interpolation process on the zeros of a product of three orthogonal polynomials and on additional nodes was studied. Functions \(u\), \(v\) and \(w\) and the extended polynomial \(L_{m+n+k} (w,u, v,f)\) which is the polynomial of the Lagrange interpolant \(f\in C^0 (|-1,1 |)\) on zeros of the product \(q_{m+n+k}= p_m (u) p_n (v) p_k (w)\), were considered. It is possible to determine other two functions \(w_1\) and \(w_2\) to \(w\) for which the polynomial \(q_{3m}= p_m (w) p_m (w_1) p_m (w_2)\). The construction of the interpolant polynomial \(f\) on zeros of \(q_3\) and on the nodes \(y_i\), \(i=1, \dots, s\) and \(z_j\), \(j=1, \dots,r\) was described. As numerical examples the functions \(f(x)= x^3/6\) and \((x^3/ 6) \sqrt {1- x^2}\) were analyzed.
