Let \(K\) be an algebraically closed field which is complete with respect to a non-archimedean absolute value. Analytic tori and their theta functions over \(K\) have been studied, from the non-archimedean complex as well as from the algebraic viewpoint, by L. Gerritzen in the 1970s [cf. \textit{L. Gerritzen}, Math. Ann. 196, 323-346 (1972; Zbl 0255.14013)]. In the present paper, Gerritzen's methods and results, in particular his algebraicity criterion for analytic tori, are extended to obtain some (non-archimedean) versions of classical results on isogenies, dual abelian varieties, polarizations, and theta identities of abelian varieties and complex tori. In particular, the author gives non-archimedean analytic analogues of some constructions and theorems proved by \textit{D. Mumford} in his celebrated work ``On the equations defining abelian varieties. I'' from 1966 [cf. Invent. Math. 1, 287-354 (1966; Zbl 0219.14024)], and at the end of his paper he establishes an addition formula for theta functions on analytic tori related by an isogeny.
