Isometries on complex metric Heisenberg groups (Q1344581)

If \(p\), \(q\), \(r\) are positive integers, complex metric Heisenberg groups \(H = H_ \mathbb{C}(p,q,r)\) endowed with suitable left-invariant Hermitian metrics have a large connected group \(K_ 0\) of isometries fixing the identity of \(H\). In this paper, it is shown that for \(pq = 1\), \(K_ 0\) is the conformal symplectic group \(\text{CS}(p,q)\), while \(pq > 1\) is the factor group \(\text{U}(p) \times \text{U}(q) \times \text{U}(r) /T\), where \(\text{U}(n)\) is the unitary group of \(\mathbb{C}^ n\) and \(T\) a normal subgroup of the product isomorphic to \(\text{U}(1)\).
