Let \(M\) be a real hypersurface of a complex projective space \(P_ n\mathbb{C}\) or a complex hyperbolic space \(H_ n \mathbb{C}\) with some Fubini- Study metric of constant holomorphic sectional curvature \(c\), \(n \geq 2\). Denote by \((\phi, \xi, \eta, g)\) the induced almost contact metric structure on \(M\) and by \(A\) the shape operator of \(M\). The author classifies all real hypersurfaces \(M\) satisfying \(\nabla_ \xi A = a(A\phi - \phi A)\) with some nonzero constant \(a\) satisfying \(2a \neq - g(A\xi, \xi)\): In \(P_ n \mathbb{C}\), \(M\) is locally congruent to a tube around some totally geodesic \(P_ k\mathbb{C} \subset P_ n\mathbb{C}\) for some \(k \in \{0,\dots, n - 1\}\); in \(H_ n \mathbb{C}\), \(M\) is locally congruent to a horosphere in \(H_ n \mathbb{C}\) or to a tube around some totally geodesic \(H_ k \mathbb{C} \subset H_ n \mathbb{C}\) for some \(k \in \{0,\dots, n-1\}\).
