This article deals with a new approach to and speculations about two classical theorems of nonlinear analysis which are called Hadamard- Cacciopolli's and Hadamard-Levy's theorems by the authors. The first of them states that each local homeomorphism \(f : X \to Y\), \(X\), \(Y\) path connected Hausdorff spaces, \(Y\) simply connected, is a homeomorphism onto \(Y\) if and only if it is a proper function. The second one states that a local diffeomorphism \(f : X \to Y\), \(X\), \(Y\) Banach spaces, is a diffeomorphism onto \(Y\) provided that \[ \int^ \infty_ 0 {ds \over \beta(s)} ds = \infty,\quad \| f'(x)^{-1} \| \leq \beta ( \| x\|) \] for a suitable scalar function \(\beta(s)\).
