Effective algorithms for spectral methods with applications (Q1346589)

The existing spectral methods are reviewed in the connection with a domain decomposition technique. A modular and flexible library of spectral methods is presented which may be used for dealing with problems arising from partial differential equations. The authors present some results of simulations obtained using Navier-Stokes and magnetohydrodynamics solvers, showing spectral methods as a tool of practical interest.
