The authors develop and compare several integrated space-time adaptive \(hp\)-refinement strategies for solving parabolic systems that feature a grid prediction strategy to take advantage of solutions at advanced singly implicit Runge-Kutta stages. Error estimates and convergence are proved. Numerical examples illustrate the method.
