Singularities of reversible vector fields (Q1349357)

The paper is concerned with generic bifurcations in one- and two-parameter families of reversible (with respect to \(Z_2\)-symmetry) vector fields on the plane around a symmetric critical point. All different topological types of symmetric singularities of codimensions 0, 1, and 2, their normal forms and their respective unfoldings are given. In particular, the author obtains a complete list of topological models for all possible generic two-parameter families of reversible vector fields. Results presented continue and extend results of \textit{J. S. W. Lamb} and \textit{H. W. Capel} [Chaos Solitons Fractals 5, No. 2, 271-293 (1995; Zbl 0843.58097)].
