The author explains that the characterization of \(L^p\)-Young measures, recently obtained by \textit{M. Kružík} and \textit{T. Roubíček} [J. Math Anal. Appl. 198, No. 3, 830-843 (1996)], may be viewed as a consequence of a result previously proved by the author himself [SIAM J. Control Optimization 22, 570-598 (1984; Zbl 0549.49005)]. The main argument is that the set of Dirac Young measures having finite \(p\)th moments, is dense in the set of all Young measures having finite \(p\)th moments.
