The concept of differential transformation was first proposed by \textit{J. K. Zhou} in 1986. Using the differential transformation technique the authors of the present paper obtain the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions for a Sturm-Liouville problem and the results are compared with those obtained by other analytical methods.
