A characteristic Cauchy problem in the complex domain (Q1354982)

\textit{L. Gårding}, \textit{T. Kotake} and \textit{J. Leray} [Bull. Soc. Math. France 92, 263-361 (1965; Zbl 0147.08101)] studied a characteristic Cauchy problem \(Pu= v\in{\mathcal O}\) with zero Cauchy data on a hypersurface \(S\). They showed that \(u\) can be ramified of order \(q\) around another hypersurface \(K\), which has a contact of order \(q-1\) with \(S\) along the characteristic points. J. Dunau generalized this result. In this paper, we further extend \textit{J. Dunau's} result [J. Math. Pures Appl. Sér. 69, No. 3, 369-402 (1990; Zbl 0659.35013)]: we establish a one-to-one correspondence between \(u\) as above and \(v\) in a certain class of ramified functions.
