Given an irreducible end periodic homeomorphism \(f\) of a hyperbolic end periodic surface \(T\), Handel and Miller constructed a pseudo-Anosov representative \(g\) isotopic to \(f\). In this article we analyze properties of the map \(g\). We show that it induces laminations in the quotients of the ends which are homotopic to geodesic laminations with finite leaves. We also show that \(g\) can be chosen so that in the ends it is an arbitrarily small perturbation of \(f\) in a strong sense. We then prove that the limit laminations in the ends are geodesic and filling. The main tool is the analysis of the canonical 3-manifold associated to the end periodic homeomorphism and the study of the suspension flow in this manifold. Finally we construct an example for which the transverse measures to the invariant laminations cannot have full support.
