Let \(H^n\) denote the hyperbolic space of the dimension \(n\). An \(h\)-convex set \(Q\subset H^n\) is a set which is convex by horocycles, that is, for every \(x,y\in Q\), every segment of the horocycle joining \(x\) and \(y\) is contained in \(Q\). Theorem A. Let \(Q(\rho)\) be a family of bounded \(h\)-convex sets of \(H^{2n}\) which expands by parallel sets over the whole space. Then \(\lim V(\rho)/F(\rho)= (2n-1)^{-1}\) for \(\rho\to\infty\), where \(V(\rho)\) and \(F(\rho)\) are respectively the volume of \(Q(\rho)\) and the area its boundary \(\partial Q(\rho)\). Theorem B. The volume of an \(h\)-convex compact hypersurface \(N^{n-1}\subset H^n\) can be obtained by the formula \(\sigma_{n-1}(N^{n-1})= O_{n-1}(O_n\cdots O_1O_{n-2})^{-1}\int\sigma_{n-2}(M^{n-1}\cap N^{n-1})dH\), where the integral is taken over all the horospheres \(M^{n-1}\) intersecting \(N^{n-1}\) and where \(O_k\) denotes the volume of the \(k\)-dimensional unit sphere in \(\mathbb{R}^{n+1}\) and \(dH\) denotes the density for horospheres in \(H^n\). Open questions: 1. Extend Theorem A to the odd-dimensional case. 2. Generalize Theorem B to horospheres and submanifolds of arbitrary codimension.
